Bent Paddle’s Cann-A-Lounge + To-Go Market offers a one-of-a-kind setting to learn about federally legal ▲9 hemp-based cannabis (canna) beverages and products. You can shop or casually sample cannabevs, or lounge solo or with friends on-site.
Tucked into Bent Paddle’s original taproom located at 1912 West Michigan Street in Duluth, MN, customers can partake in a wide variety of hemp-derived canna-infused products in a relaxed, funky, smoke-free, 21+ lounge. Our quirky space invites customers to experience not only Bent Paddle’s full lineup of non-synthetic, MN-grown and produced, hemp-derived ▲9 canna sparkling waters and edibles but also many other notable canna beverage brands and other hand-selected HIGH-quality hemp and cannabis adjacent products, from edibles to body care to Creative Thinking journals and so many unique gifts.
The Cann-A-Lounge + Market, which opened in February of 2023, aims to create a welcoming, stigma-free environment for all who wish to learn more in a safe, comfortable, and social space. “Our knowledgeable staff helps folks new and old to cannabis learn about its origin, effects, and more,” noted Bent Paddle Taproom Director Pepin Young. “Our staff is trained to educate customers on THC and create a positive experience for all.”
Walking into the Cann-A-Lounge, you may experience some 80s Floridian lanai vibes ala Golden Girls, but with a more modern and refined twist. It’s a kitschy, electric space colored in greens, pinks, and oranges with lots of tongue-in-cheek “stoner” activities like puzzles, adult coloring books, games, vintage High Times magazines, a retro TV, and tons of plants. There are couches, nooks, and a vinyl record player with a wide-ranging mix of records that you can put on the turntable yourself.
“We had a blast recreating our ready-to-roll original taproom into a soft yet funky new space for paddlers to enjoy cannabis beverages socially and shop our selection of unique, curated beverages and other cannabis products from the to-go market. The best thing about drinking our hemp products is that they are water-soluble, which means the effects can be felt quickly compared to other ways of ingesting cannabis. Plus, people naturally enjoy gathering over a beverage, so our Cann-A-Lounge is designed to be a fully social experience but is also a great quick grab-and-go canna product and unique gift shop,” says Bent Paddle Co-Founder Laura Mullen.
The lounge and shop are open weekly Thursday-Sundays at Bent Paddle’s original taproom located at 1912 West Michigan St. While the Cann-A-Lounge is a 21+ only environment, paddlers with kids and pets can still find Bent Paddle’s canna sparkling beverages + gummies at our current Taproom seven days per week alongside Bent Paddle’s selection of award-winning craft beers and other non-alcoholic drinks.
