The cannabis plant produces more than 100 cannabinoids, including two main ones, CBD and THC, which cause drug-like reactions in your body. Hemp contains very little THC, usually less than 0.3%, but we can (obviously) get THC from it. Cannabis plants with THC concentrations greater than 0.3% are considered marijuana.

THC is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive ingredient in the cannabis plant. It’s what makes you feel “high” when you smoke or ingest (eat/drink) it. CBD is short for cannabidiol and is also made from the cannabis plant. CBD is related to THC, but it’s not psychoactive, so it doesn’t make you “high” like THC does.

Full spectrum refers to canna products that maintain a variety of cannabinoids such as THC, CBD, CBG, CBN, and more, versus products created with a single, isolated cannabinoid. Full-spectrum products are touted as superior because cannabinoids are more effective when working together, a concept known as the entourage effect.

Marijuana plants have commonly known effect designations like sativa (energetic effect) and indica (relaxing effect) plus hybrids of the two combined.  Our products are all derived from hemp so there is no such designation indicated.
